The Hotel is situated on Prestwick Seafront and overlooks the Isle of Arran and Firth of Clyde. It is 2-3 minutes by taxi from Prestwick Airport and is within walking distance of the Rail Station and Town Centre. Glasgow is 45 minutes by train - services are every half-hour and there are also connections to Stranraer. Edinburgh and St Andrews are within comfortable driving distance. A ferry service from Troon, which is 10 minutes away, operates daily to Belfast. Further north a ferry service to the Isle of Arran operates from Ardrossan.
From the South
Follow M74, take A70 (signposted for Ayr) - the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Alternatively, north of Carlisle take A76, which is a more scenic route but takes longer. On A70 after passing through the village of Coylton, approximately 10-15 minutes later you will pass Dobbies Garden Centre and at next roundabout turn right and follow signs for Prestwick Airport - next roundabout follow signs for Prestwick (B 743). Go straight through three sets of traffic lights and at fourth set turn right - this brings you on to main Ayr/Prestwick road (A79), thereafter follow Map B.
From the North
Follow signs for Glasgow and A/M77. Thereafter follow signs for Kilmarnock and Prestwick Airport. After by-passing Kilmarnock and travelling approximately 10-15 minutes you will approach roundabout to the north of Prestwick - at this roundabout follow signs for Prestwick Airport (A79) - thereafter follow Map B.
